What to expect from your newborn session
During a newborn session, parents can typically expect a variety of posed and candid shots of their baby. This includes individual shots of the baby, as well as family shots. I provide props and accessories to create different setups. The session might take a few hours and requires a calm and patient environment to accommodate the baby’s needs

When should I book my baby’s newborn session?
Optimal booking occurs in your Second Trimester. I can only accommodate a maximum of 8-10 bookings for newborn portrait sessions each month. This allows for the possibility of rescheduling due to early or delayed arrivals. The limited number of bookings ensures flexibility and a personalized, comprehensive experience for each family. These spots are in high demand and tend to get filled quickly, so it's recommended to secure your session date with a reservation of 2 to 3 months in advance.
How old should my baby be for his/her newborn portraits?
For capturing those classic newborn poses, it's generally recommended to schedule portrait sessions within the first 9 to 21 days after your baby's birth. This timeframe is when babies are sleepier and more flexible, allowing photographers to capture those adorable curled-up poses.
How do I book when I don't know when my baby will arrive?
Your reservation ensures my presence during the initial three weeks after your baby is born, no matter when that occurs. We establish a tentative date according to your due date and then finalize the session date once your baby is born.
What do I need to bring?
Your session is completely customized for you and I provide absolutely everything. Your session includes full access to my ever-growing collection of custom newborn props & handmade textiles. Blankets, bonnets, wraps, tiny teddies, headbands, flower crowns, beds, buckets, baskets, - everything needed for your session. Just bring your adorable baby and a diaper bag!
What is included in my newborn portrait session?
A 2-4 hour newborn portrait session, fully-guided family/parent/sibling poses, everything needed for your newborn session (all backdrops, props, wraps, outfits, and accessories) in the color palette of your choice,

I believe newborn photography prioritizing safety is paramount. I Ensure the room is comfortably warm and free from any hazards. Use soft and non-allergenic materials for props and blankets. Always support the baby's head and neck, and never place them in positions that could compromise their airway. Sanitize hands before handling the baby. Maintain constant supervision and prepared to adjust plans if the baby becomes fussy or uncomfortable. Ultimately, creating a safe and secure environment will allow for beautiful newborn photographs while keeping the baby's well-being the top priority.
